Peoria stretches a long way, from the older streets around Old Town Peoria up past the Loop 303 to Vistancia and the roads toward Lake Pleasant. The junk changes as you go north. Downtown it is older homes and rental turnovers. In the master-planned neighborhoods it is full garages and HOA deadlines. Near the lake it is outdoor gear and patio furniture that has given up.
We come over from the north side of the Valley, so Peoria works best booked a day out. That lets us set a tighter time window and plan the route so you are not waiting around.
Vistancia, Fletcher Heights and Westwing
The newer communities in north Peoria have HOAs that do not love a pile of junk in the driveway, and most of them limit how long a dumpster or storage pod can sit out front. Hiring a crew that loads and leaves the same day sidesteps that problem.
A typical job in Vistancia, Fletcher Heights or Westwing is a three-car garage that turned into storage: old furniture, broken bikes, boxes from the last move and a treadmill nobody uses. A packed bay often fits in a half trailer at $299. Our garage cleanout page shows what to expect.
Downsizing near Sun City
Peoria sits right next to Sun City, and a typical job in this part of the West Valley is someone moving into a smaller home or helping a parent do it. These jobs usually mean a full household of furniture, plus a garage, a shed and sometimes a golf cart's worth of accessories.
We sort donation items as we load, carry everything out, and sweep up when the rooms are empty. If the home is being cleared after a death in the family, our estate cleanout page explains how we work with families and realtors.
Old Town Peoria and rental turnovers
Around Old Town Peoria, the homes are older, the lots are smaller and many are rentals. Landlords call us between tenants for the mattress left in the bedroom, the couch on the patio and the bags in the carport. Most of those jobs land between the $149 minimum and a half trailer.
Lake Pleasant gear and desert yard debris
Homes closer to Lake Pleasant collect a different kind of junk: sun-rotted patio sets, old kayaks and coolers, broken camping gear and outdoor furniture. After monsoon storms we also haul branches and palm fronds from yards. We cannot take fuel, oil or propane tanks, so set those aside before we arrive.
Loads from Peoria typically go to the Glendale Municipal Landfill in west Glendale, after donation and recycling stops.
- Patio furniture and shade structures
- Old grills (with propane tanks removed)
- Kayaks, coolers and camping gear
- Storm debris and desert landscaping trimmings
