The Town of Paradise Valley does not run its own trash service. Homes here contract with private haulers, and those routes are built for weekly bins, not a sectional, a wine fridge or a casita full of old furniture. That gap is the main reason Paradise Valley homeowners need a junk hauler.
The other reason is that the stuff here is often too nice to throw away. A lot of what comes out of homes under Camelback and Mummy Mountain is solid wood, leather and working appliances, and we would rather drop it at donation than at the transfer station.
Estate lots and long driveways
Paradise Valley homes usually sit on an acre or more, set back from the road behind gates and long driveways. That is generally good for us, since there is room to back the trailer in close and load without blocking a street. If you have a gate code, a call box or a spot where you would rather we park, tell us when you book.
We take care around stone pavers, desert landscaping and tight turns near the house. If the driveway is narrow or has a low arch, a photo helps us decide whether to bring the trailer in or carry items out to it.
Guest houses, casitas and pool houses
Casitas and guest houses tend to collect furniture that rotated out of the main house. When the casita is being remodeled, rented or turned into an office, it all needs to go at once: beds, dressers, sleeper sofas, TVs and kitchenette appliances. A furnished casita usually fits in a half trailer at $299.
Pool houses and backyard ramadas are another common job: faded loungers, old outdoor kitchens and hot tubs that have not run in years.
High-end furniture goes to donation first
When we load, we sort. Furniture in good shape, working appliances and usable household goods go to donation partners before anything goes to disposal. Metal and electronics go to recyclers. We cannot promise a charity will accept every piece, but we make the stop.
If you plan to sell or consign the best pieces, do that first and let us take what is left. If you are clearing a whole home for a sale or after a loss in the family, our estate cleanout page explains how we handle it.
Discreet scheduling
Many Paradise Valley homeowners want the job done without a lot of attention: during a listing, before guests arrive, or while the owner is out of town. We can work from photos, come in a set window, and text you a photo when the space is clear.
Paradise Valley is close to our North Phoenix base, so we can often fit a job in the same day or the next morning.
