Carefree is a different kind of job. Many homes here are custom builds set into the boulders, with tight drives, flagstone walkways and front doors you reach by stairs. A lot of them are second homes, so the junk is often a decade of furniture, patio sets and storage that piled up between visits.
We are based on the north side, a short drive from the Carefree town center and Easy Street. Text a photo to (206) 554-1524 and we will reply with a trailer size and a time that works around your travel.
Second homes and snowbird closings
Owners who spend winters here often call us at the end of the season, in spring, when the house is being closed up or sold. You do not need to be in town. If the items are staged where we can reach them, a garage, a casita, a covered patio, approve the quote by text and we will load, sweep and send you a photo when the job is done.
Usable furniture goes to donation first. Sun-faded patio cushions, mattresses and anything broken go to recycling or the transfer station. If a realtor or property manager is coordinating, we are happy to work with them directly.
Custom homes among the boulders
Homes near the Boulders and up toward Black Mountain often have landscaping that was built around the rock, not around a trailer. We park where the drive allows and carry the rest. Tell us about stairs, narrow side paths and anything fragile on the route, and we will pad doorways and keep heavy pieces off your tile and pavers.
Big pieces come out the way they went in. Armoires, oversized leather sectionals and solid wood dining tables are common here, and we take apart what needs to come apart. For single heavy items, see our couch and furniture removal page.
Casitas, guest houses and storage rooms
The casita is where Carefree stuff goes to wait. A typical job here is a guest house turned storage room: old beds, boxed decor, a kitchenette fridge, exercise equipment and holiday bins. We clear it in one visit and leave it ready to rent, sell or use again.
Many homes in Carefree use private haulers for regular trash, and those services generally do not take furniture or appliances. A one-time trailer load fills that gap.
- Casita and guest house cleanouts
- Patio furniture, umbrellas and fire tables
- Old appliances from secondary kitchens
- Garage and golf cart bay clutter
- Desert landscaping debris after a storm
What it costs
A single item is $149. A casita or a patio of furniture usually fills about half the trailer, which is $299. Closing out most of a house can run a full trailer at $599 or more than one load. Labor, hauling and disposal fees are included, and we confirm the price on-site before anything is loaded. Details are on our pricing section. For a bigger project, read about estate cleanouts.
