Appliances are heavy, they scratch floors, and the delivery company for your new one may not take the old one, or may charge for it and want it unhooked and waiting by the door. We handle the carry-out from wherever it sits: kitchen, laundry room, garage or the side yard where the old garage fridge has been humming for a decade.
One appliance is a single item at $149, with hauling and disposal included. A washer and dryer pair or a few appliances from a kitchen remodel usually fit a half trailer at $299. Text a photo to (206) 554-1524 for a quick number.
What we haul
If it plugs in or holds water and two people can carry it, we can take it.
- Refrigerators, freezers and wine coolers
- Washers and dryers, stacked or side by side
- Water heaters (tank style)
- Ovens, ranges, dishwashers and microwaves
- Window and portable AC units, dehumidifiers
- TVs, monitors and other e-waste
Before we arrive
Unplug it and empty it. For a fridge or freezer, that means food out and ideally a day to defrost so it is not dripping across the kitchen. Washers should be drained, and the water supply valves turned off.
Gas dryers and gas ranges need the gas line shut off and capped by a plumber or other qualified pro before we come. We do not disconnect gas lines. Water heaters should be drained and disconnected as well, since a full tank weighs several hundred pounds and is not safe to move.
Where your appliances go
Working appliances in decent shape go to donation first. Everything else goes to recyclers. Refrigerators, freezers and AC units contain refrigerant, so they go to a recycler that handles refrigerant recovery instead of being dumped. The steel in washers, dryers, ranges and water heaters is recycled as scrap metal, and TVs and electronics go to e-waste recycling.
That means almost nothing from an appliance job ends up at the transfer station, which matters in a hot, dry place where landfill space is not getting any cheaper.
We protect the route on the way out. Fridges and washers go on a dolly with straps, and we watch for tile edges, thresholds and the step down into the garage. If an appliance is wedged into a cabinet opening or a tight laundry closet, we pull it out slowly so the cabinets and walls are not scraped on the way.
Garage fridges, remodels and rentals
Typical appliance pickups come from garages in North Phoenix and Glendale, where the second fridge finally gave up in the summer heat. Kitchen remodels in older homes around Phoenix are the other big one, often alongside cabinets and countertops from a construction debris haul. Landlords swapping out appliances between tenants can book a pickup without being on site, as long as the unit is accessible and the quote is approved by text.
