In a lot of Phoenix homes the garage holds everything that did not fit anywhere else: boxes from the last move, a treadmill, a broken patio set, the old garage fridge, and paint cans from 2015. Getting the car back inside is the goal. We do the heavy part, you decide what stays.
Garage cleanouts are priced by trailer space. A one-car garage typically fits a half trailer at $299, and a packed two-car garage usually runs a full trailer at $599. Text a photo of the open garage door to (206) 554-1524 and we tell you which.
We start early because it is Phoenix
From May through September a closed garage in the Valley can get far hotter than the outside air. That is miserable to sort through and hard on anyone lifting boxes. We book garage jobs as early as 7am on summer days so most of the work is done before the worst of the afternoon. In the cooler months the timing is wide open.
How a garage cleanout works
- You point out what stays. Tape, sticky notes or just walking us through is fine.
- We pull everything else out to the driveway and sort it: donate, recycle, haul.
- Usable furniture, tools and working appliances go to donation first. Metal and e-waste go to recyclers.
- The rest goes on the trailer, and we sweep the floor before we leave.
If you are not home, that works too. Mark what stays, approve the quote by text, and we send a photo of the empty garage when it is done.
Half trailer or full trailer?
Our dump trailer holds about 14 cubic yards. A half trailer, around 7 yards, covers a one-car garage, a single wall of shelving and boxes, or a garage with a couple of big items like a couch and a fridge. A full trailer covers a two-car garage packed to the ceiling. If it needs more than one full load, each load is priced the same way. See pricing for the breakdown.
Heavy material like tile, concrete, rock or bags of decomposed granite is quoted by weight, not volume.
What we cannot take from a garage
Garages are where hazardous leftovers hide. We cannot haul paint, solvents, pool chemicals, motor oil, fuel or propane tanks. Set those aside and we will point you to the next household hazardous waste drop-off. Everything else that two people can lift is fair game, including old appliances and furniture.
Garage cleanouts are a big part of the work on the north side, from Cave Creek to Anthem, where HOAs often do not want a dumpster sitting in the driveway for a week. If the garage is part of a full house clear-out, see estate cleanouts.
